Set up a private Telegram bot so you can message your agent and get instant updates — right from your phone.
Before you start
- A personal Telegram account.
- A Telegram bot token, created with @BotFather.
- Keep your bot token strictly private — treat it like a password.
Connect it
Create the bot
In Telegram, open @BotFather and create a new bot with /newbot. Note the username and the private token it gives you.
Add it in Console
Open the Telegram section in Console, enter your bot username and private token, and choose which agent it should talk to.
Run a delivery check
Trigger Console's delivery probe to confirm messages flow correctly in both directions.
Turn it off any time
When you're done, use Revoke in Console, or rotate the token inside @BotFather.

If your bot doesn't reply, send us this:
- Your public bot username.
- The agent you connected it to.
- The result of your most recent delivery probe.
